The Treacy Foundation awards scholarships to entering freshman and sophomore college students who are residents of Montana with 60 or less college degree credits.

The scholarships are $3,000.00 per year and are renewable up to 3 years provided the student requests renewal each year.  You may go to any school of your choice.

We do not offer scholarships for trade schools.  We do not offer scholarships to junior, senior or graduate college students.

Applications are reviewed by the Treacy Scholarship Selection Committee and then applicants will then be notified of his/her selection or non-selection.

We do provide preference to students requesting renewal of their scholarships, so we are limited on the number of new scholarships granted each year.

Renewal

Once a student has been selected for a Treacy Foundation scholarship, that student will receive preference for renewal.  

You can request renewal of your scholarship from
January 1st to May 1st by writing a letter or emailing the Foundation.  Include your student ID# and where you will be going to school.  

If you request your renewal after May 1st, we will put you on a waiting list.
